Our e-mail is not sending mail only receiving!
Solution
Depending on your ISP (Internet Service Provider), you may or may not be able to use our out going mail server.
We have noticed people using SBC/AT&T DSL having this problem, including us!
2 Options:
1) Continue to use our outgoing mail server. Here is the workaround, you need to change the Outgoing Server port (SMTP). Here are the directions for Outlook (similar for Express):
- Tools -> Email Accounts -> View or change existing e-mail accounts -> Next -> Select your email account -> Change -> More Settings -> Advanced Tab -> Change Outgoing server (SMTP) from 25 to 26 -> OK -> Next -> Finish
2) Use SBC/AT&T outgoing mail server.
- Tools -> Email Accounts -> View or change existing e-mail accounts -> Next -> Select your email account -> Change -> Change the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) to smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com -> then click on More Settings -> Outgoing Server tab -> check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" -> mark "Log on using" -> enter your login user name and password provided by your ISP -> OK -> Next -> Finish
This should fix your sending email problem. If you are still having problems, please open a support ticket.
